Welcome to Fenicci's of Hershey. The building, originally built in 1921, has been home to many interesting and varied businesses. Over the years it has hosted a photo shop, pool room, butcher shop, tailor, grocery store, news agency, beauty shop, taxi service, soda fountain, the H. B. Reese Candy Company, and a jewelry store, as well as the DeAngelis Restaurant which is now Fenicci's of Hershey.

Fenicci's of Hershey has been a landmark for decades. The restaurant was originally established by the DeAngelis family in 1935, and was a favorite Italian restaurant among the generations of local residents as well as the many visitors to the area. In 1988, the Fenice family purchased the restaurant and continued to operate in the same manner as the DeAngelis family, serving generous portions of fine Italian/American cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Today, the Hershey tradition is being carried on by myself, Phil Guarno, the current owner. I look forward to maintaining the tradition of the two great families that have previously owned it.

Even as traditions have endured through the years, some things have changed. For instance, the interior of Fenicci's of Hershey has been altered and expanded many times over the years. The addition of the Veranda (Garden) Room allows for special occasion banquet and catering services. Most recently, the bar and lounge have undergone renovations that uncovered some invaluable momentos from the DeAngelis era. Now that the bar has been renovated, we will be offering a new late-night dining menu until midnight. We will also be enhancing the menu over the next several months to feature salads, sauté items, increased appetizer and sandwich selections, desserts, and coffees for after the theatre or the movies. |
On a personal note, I have been the General Manager at the Marriott, now the Wyndham Hotel, for the past 6 years. Hospitality, good friends, family, and delicious food are my passions. Hershey and Penn State Children‘s Hospital, especially Children's Miracle Network, are my other great passions. Over the past 6 years, we were able to raise over $400,000 to help the hospital and the kids of our community. During the past 6 years that I have been in Hershey, I have been enjoying the upside-down pizza with family, friends and my daughter, Melissa. |

I am also very excited that the staff will stay on so that we can all welcome you to Fenicci's in the future. I intend to continue preparing all our meals to order using only the highest quality ingredients. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and welcoming you into the next era in the Fenicci's legacy.
